CNY Open House!

Phew after few days of compact and hectic schedule, finally managed to pin down the final assignment of the semester - research report. With study skills examination finished on the 20th of February, this means that next in line will be the English for Business and Management studies exam. 23-page of article focussed mainly on Glass-ceiling, simply 'wonderful'. (For those who do not understand what is glass ceiling, GOOGLE it)

Yesterday been invited to a CNY open house by mum's ex-colleague. The open house was in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Nice area where lots of bungalow are situated....XD Had to endure around half-an-hour of traffic jam from LDP to Puchong, really sien.....

Reach there, greeted auntie and uncle, then its a house tour! =) went round the house, for me the interior design was not bad, my personal favourite was the pond area with a balinese style of design.

Then its eating time! I have to say, that was the best catering that I have eaten thus far. The options given are: succulent satay, Roti Bom, Otak-otak specially from Muar, oyster-omelette and freshly roasted lamb. Simply thumbs up for the food, mum's ex-colleague really do have a great taste for food!

Then after the scrumptious dinner, here comes the unexpected: fireworks! (wow, uncle surely is brave, considering the tight surveillance by police) Woohoo! seeing the fireworks erupting in the sky in such a close distance with thundering noise, this do serve as a wonderful ending to an evening. Saw the 1st round of fireworks in distance, never expected the 2nd to be just fired in front of uncle's house minutes later (had to quickly retreat to watch at distance, seriously there's debris and flares from the fireworks)

After the wonderful display of fireworks, bid farewell to the host, then embark on the journey home. On the way to retrieve dad's car, saw all the debris from the fireworks scattering all over, I just wonder: will other neighbours complain? Then later saw dad's car also caught some fire powder from the fireworks, OMG. The fireworks was fired just metres away from dad's car. Seeing the fireworks container still engulf in smokes, I could not stop myself form wondering how irrational it is to fire them near a congested area with lots of cars......

Dad complained today his car was hit by the debris and the bumper part has burnt marks....=(
